Following the San Francisco 49ers' blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving, many fans called for the dismissal of offensive coordinator Greg Roman.
Speaking on Monday, coach Jim Harbaugh backed his coach when asked if Roman will remain the play-caller.
"Yes," Harbaugh answered, per the San Jose Mercury News' Tim Kawakami. "(I) have unwavering support for all our coaches and our players."
The 49ers totaled 164 yards of offense (100 passing, 64 rushing) on Thanksgiving -- the team's second-lowest yardage under Harbaugh. San Francisco has scored fewer than 20 points in five out of its past six games, leading to much of the criticism.
Harbaugh after the game said he always "evaluates" his offense, but at this point no changes will be made.
The head coach was also asked Monday about his own future, amid persistent reports that he will be gone from San Francisco after the season.
According to reporters, Harbaugh repeatedly said his only plan was to "attack this week" and that he doesn't concern himself with anything down the line.
"I don't worry about my future. Haven't participated in any of that speculation," he said. "I think I have a recessive gene for worrying about my own future."
The 49ers might have just four more games until the future becomes the present.
