Houston Texans auction to aid shooting victims' kin

The Houston Texans will hold a silent action during Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, with proceeds going to families of the victims of the school shooting in Newtown, Conn. Texans owner Tom McNair and the Houston Texans Foundation will match the funds, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The money will go to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, which was created by the United Way.

Items to be auctioned include: a signed and framed Andre Johnson jersey, a signed Arian Foster jersey, signed photos of J.J. Watt, a trip for two to the 2013 NFL Draft and a package for two to watch pre-game introductions for the first playoff game from the Houston tunnel.
