The Washington Redskins aren't the only team preparing for the likelihood that they will select Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick in the draft. The Dallas Cowboys also are getting ready, plotting ways to defend the quarterback.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told the Dallas Morning News on Friday that the key to limiting RG3 is to put pressure on him and his receivers.

Jones believes the Cowboys' acquisition of cornerback Brandon Carr will help with this.
"He's a press corner. I think he fits with what we want to do on defense, which is get in their face and press them up," Jones told the newspaper.
"We obviously have one of the elite pressure players in the league in DeMarcus Ware," Jones said. "I think we have to get (Anthony) Spencer more involved in terms of productivity. Then you look at our defensive linemen -- (Jay) Ratliff and (Jason) Hatcher and those guys, I think we have to get better there but I think we can do that."
Jones pointed out that the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, another NFC East rival, were able to reach opposing quarterbacks.
"I think the Giants showed, with their late-season surge, when they got healthy in the defensive line, they were able to get that pressure on good quarterbacks," Jones said. "It certainly disrupts."
Jones reiterated that it all comes back to pressure.
"A young player like RG3, if we can get pressure on guys like that, I think it affects their accuracy, I think it affects their productivity and I think it will allow us to have success against them," Jones said.
