Here are the injuries we're monitoring around the league on this Week 11 Sunday:
- Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson suffered a knee injury in the team's 20-19 win over the Carolina Panthers and did not return to the game. Johnson will have an MRI on his knee on Monday, but the early word is that the injury is a knee sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
- Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden announced quarterback Alex Smithsuffered a fractured tibia and fibula and will undergo surgery right away. Smith was carted off in the third quarter. The Redskins ruled him out thereafter.
- Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly sustained a knee injury and did not return against the Tennessee Titans.
- Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariotadid not return to the game after injuring his elbow before halftime against the Colts.
- Atlanta Falcons safety Damontae Kazee suffered a shoulder injury against the Dallas Cowboys.
- Houston Texans guard Zach Fulton sustained a shoulder injury against the Washington Redskins. Guard Senio Kelemete suffered an ankle injury.
- Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa (foot) made his season debut against the Denver Broncos.
Defensive tackle Corey Liuget tore his quad tendon and will miss the remainder of the year, Rapoport reported.
- Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jordy Nelson did not play against the Arizona Cardinals. Nelson was dealing with a knee injury and did not practice this week.
Wide receiver Brandon LaFell tore his Achilles and will miss the remainder of the season.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard exited with an ankle injury and did not return to the game.
- Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce (elbow) and cornerback Sidney Jones (hamstring), and cornerback Rasul Douglas (knee) did not return. Cornerback Avonte Maddox (knee) was ruled out against the New Orleans Saints. Long snapper Rick Lovato was evaluated for a head injury.
- Arizona Cardinals linebacker Deone Bucannon did not return with a chest injury.
- Chicago Bears tight end Adam Shaheen and linebacker Aaron Lynch suffered concussions and are in the protocol.
