Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones will be active Sunday against the Washington Redskins, the team announced. Jones had been battling toe and hamstring issues.
The Alabama product is a major reason why the Falcons are sitting atop the NFC South at 4-0, with 38 receptions for 478 yards and four TDs so far this season.
Here are the other players we've been tracking Sunday:
- Seahawks running back Fred Jackson will be active against the Bengals. The veteran left Monday's win over the Lions with an ankle injury.
- Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas (hand) will make his debut for Jacksonville following surgery to repair a torn tendon in his finger. Thomas has been catching passes all week without a cast.
- Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will not play against the Chiefs. Jeffery has been sidelined since Week 1 with a hamstring injury.
- Browns wide receiver Brian Hartline (thigh, ribs) and cornerback Joe Haden (finger, ribs) are both active for Sunday's tilt against the Ravens. Wideout Dwayne Bowe is a healthy scratch. He's been dealing with a hamstring issue.
