J.J. Watt is impossible. At this point, every move on the football field presents a shrug and concession of his greatness. Barely anything the Houston Texans' stud does any more surprises. But he was able to add to his tremendous 2014 campaign with one play in particular during Week 13, a play that placed No. 1 in the Top 10 "Performance Moments of the Week" presented by Bridgestone.
Most of Houston's showdown against the Tennessee Titans involved a brilliant Ryan Fitzpatrick -- and for good reason; the quarterback threw six touchdown passes. Six! The one that capped off the tremendous day will be one shown in Watt's career highlight reel for years to come.
About nine minutes left in the game, Watt motioned to the right and ran a quick out route while the Texans were on Tennessee's 1-yard line. Titans linebacker Wesley Woodyardshould have known No. 99 was the intended target, but he still wasn't ready to get between the defensive end and the ball, resulting in Watt hauling in a scoring grab, his third on the year.
Pulling up at No. 2 is a more astonishing grab, technically speaking. Though it was no Odell BeckhamSpiderman grab, Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith's one-handed, 16-yard touchdown reception was nothing to scoff at. Smith reeled in a Joe Flacco pass with his left hand, bobbled it and put both mitts on the pigskin before finally reeling it in with his right hand. Smooth moves, Torrey.
Also making the countdown: Colt McCoy displayed some savvy pocket awareness and poise, evading three Colts pass rushers before hitting Logan Paulsen on a 16-yard touchdown. ... Rams receiver Stedman Bailey wanted a one-handed catch of his own to add to the myriad grabs in 2014. ... Jordy Nelson was stuck on Revis Island until he exploded for a 45-yard touchdown just before the first half ended.
