After his blazing performance in Super Bowl XLVII, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver/kick returner/dancer extraordinaireJacoby Jones hopes he plays in Baltimore for years to come.
"I want to retire here," Jones said Wednesday when asked if he was hoping to sign a long-term extension, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Jones signed a two-year, $7 million contract last offseason after spending five seasons with the Houston Texans. He played a pivotal role throughout the 2012 season, then made his mark during the playoffs and finally dashed into the public consciousness with a record 290 all-purpose yards in the Super Bowl.
He said Wednesday he wants to celebrate again in Baltimore.
"I had so much excitement after the game, I popped a blood vessel in my eyes," said Jones, sporting sunglasses. "That's why I'm wearing shades. My eyes are all red. All I can say is, 'Wow, and I want to do it again.'"
If he ever comes down from the Super Bowl high, he might also want to get paid for his performances.
