Jacksonville is signing cornerback Tyson Campbell to a four-year, $76.5 million contract extension, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday. The deal includes $53.4 million in effectively guaranteed salary, Rapoport added.

The $19.125 million per year average puts Campbell's extension a shade higher than the $19.1 million deal L'Jarius Sneed inked with the Titans earlier this offseason. It's the largest deal for a CB in 2024 and sixth-highest among all corners.
A second-round pick in 2021, Campbell was set to enter the final year of his rookie deal. Now he's under contract through 2028 with a big payday.
The top cover man in the Jags' secondary, Campbell has six interceptions, 30 passes defensed, 203 tackles and two forced fumbles in 43 games during his career. After a fantastic 2022, Campbell had a down 2023 while dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. Jacksonville is banking on the corner returning to form in 2024.
With new defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen taking over, there are questions in the Jags' secondary, but Campbell isn't one of them.
