JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jaguars have placed defensive end Aaron Kampman on injured reserve for the second consecutive season.
Kampman played sparingly in three games this year, missing the first five games while recovering from a knee injury and sitting out the last four because of a badly strained hamstring.
This marks the third consecutive season that Kampman ended the season on IR.
The Jaguars (3-9) also signed tight end Colin Cloherty to the active roster from the practice squad, signed defensive end Jammie Kirlew to the practice squad and waived defensive end Marc Schiechl from injured reserve.
Kampman had two tackles and two quarterback pressures this season. He signed a four-year, $26 million contract with Jacksonville in 2010, but has played just 11 games in two years.
