Jeff Fisher doesn't expect his St. Louis Rams to be the subject of this season's edition of HBO's "Hard Knocks" series.
"I think it's unlikely," Fisher told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas on Monday. "We are eligible, but I think it's highly unlikely they'd ask us to do it. I think this organization has a right to go through training camp with some normalcy."
Following the selection of Michael Sam, the NFL's first openly gay player, the Rams became fodder for the show's possible featured team.
The Rams are one of eight teams the NFL can appoint (regardless of objections) based on three criteria: they do not have a new head coach, they haven't made the playoffs in the last two years and they haven't participated in the series in the previous 10 seasons.
