Two days after firingMike Munchak, the Tennessee Titans have scheduled their first interview to fill their head-coaching vacancy.
A person informed of their plans told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport on Monday the Titanswill interviewRavens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell later this week.
Caldwell compiled a 26-22 record in three seasons as the Colts' head coach, guiding his squad to Super Bowl XLIV.
In addition to Caldwell, the Titans are pushing hard to interview Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer this week. They also have reached out to Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden, Rapoport reported on NFL Network's "Around the League Live."
The team also has reached out informally to Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt. Per Rapoport, Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Rich Bisaccia and Vanderbilt coach James Franklin are two other names to keep in mind.
Don't be surprised to see Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn added to the interview list, pending Seattle's postseason fate.
