San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh -- who was the Raiders' quarterbacks coach during the team's Super Bowl run -- denied Friday that Callahan prevented the Raiders from winning the game.
According to Newsday columnist Bob Glauber, Harbaugh described Brown's statements as "not factual at all, and I really think he should be ashamed of what he said."
Harbaugh went on to say that he supported everything Callahan said in a statement regarding the matter, which categorically denied that he tried to lose the game. Former Raiders quarterback Rich Gannon was among the former players who supported Callahan. Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice supported Brown's claim.
