Jim Harbaugh: Everything is fine with Ahmad Brooks

Jim Harbaugh is ready to move on from a bizarre player self-benching on Sunday, but is Ahmad Brooks?

The 49ers star outside linebacker, who pulled himself from the game after voicing his displeasure with sharing snaps, spoke with his coach on Monday in an apparent effort to clear the air.

Harbaugh predictably said that everything was fine, per CSN Bay Area.

Brooks is expected to practice on Wednesday and play against the Redskins, though we won't know exactly where the relationship stands until we see a snap breakdown on Sunday. Harbaugh did not sound like he was planning on suspending Brooks or applying any sort of discipline.

Brooks will be returning to a defense that has the potential to be worlds better than it was a week ago. On top of Aldon Smith's return, NaVorro Bowman will also be "at practice" this week, according to Harbaugh. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport had previously reported the development.

Though rookie Chris Borland has been incredible in Bowman's absence, the 49ers are not likely to turn down help wherever they can get it. Assuming Bowman is actually healthy enough to be activated, he'll be an instant game-changer.

The Niners also made some adjustments to their defensive line. San Francisco added Glenn Dorsey to the 53-man roster from the Injured Reserve/Designated for Return List. To make room for Dorsey the 49ers put NT Ian Williams on the Injured Reserve List.
