Jimmy Butler: I can replace Demaryius, Antonio Brown

Chicago Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler just won his first Olympic gold medal.

Butler is one of the best two-way players in the NBA, but he believes his talent would transfer over to the gridiron.

The Bulls star recently told ESPN that he thinks he'd be a better NFL wide receiver than Demaryius Thomas and Antonio Brown.

"I really love the game of football. I think I'm really good at it. I could probably take Demaryius Thomas' spot (and) Antonio Brown's spot," Butler said with a smile. "I told them they're lucky I'm playing in the Olympics or I'd be getting a franchise tag with one of their organizations."

Take a look at the full interview from the newly crowned Olympic gold medalist here.

Now we do realize Butler is joking, but he does seem slightly intrigued with the idea of competing against two of the best wideouts in the NFL.
