Jordy Nelson's latest injury likely will cost him more time on the bench.
Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Nelson's hamstring injury isn't serious, but the wide receiver will be "hard pressed" to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
McCarthy said Nelson felt something in the leg during warmups and tried to play through it before coming out of the game after making a 10-yard reception in the first quarter. It's the same hamstring that cost Nelson two games earlier in the season.
With Greg Jennings back in the lineup, the Packers can choose to play it safe with Nelson. Randall Cobb and James Jones have emerged, providing Aaron Rodgers with no shortage of playmakers.
