Over the past seven seasons, Kareem McKenzie has started a combined 106 regular season and playoff games and earned two Super Bowl rings with the New York Giants. McKenzie's contract expired at the end of last season and the team already has informed him he will not be re-signed.

McKenzie isn't retired yet, but with zero phone calls in two months of free agency, the 32-year-old realizes that decision might not entirely be up to him, Jorge Castillo of The Star-Ledger reports.
"I'm not retired yet but you know what, we'll go ahead and see what happens and if no one calls me then oh we'll I guess I am," McKenzie said. "So no big deal to me."
With veteran offensive tackle Alex Barron recently getting a contract from the Seattle Seahawks after a year out of football, it would be wise for McKenzie to stay in shape in case an injury during the OTA/minicamp period or training camp creates an opportunity. If this is the end, though, McKenzie couldn't ask for a better end to his career.
"It's a great way to go out," McKenzie said. "You can't beat it. To go out Super Bowl champion two times in 11 years, you can't beat it. Not at all."
