From an NFL star to an NBA star, Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to send his outpouring support to Kobe Bryant, who suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the final minutes of the Los Angeles Lakers' 118-116 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
Griffin knows a thing or two about injuries. He suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Washington Redskins' wild-card playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks last season, so it came as no surprise that he reached out to Bryant. Other current and former NFL stars also expressed their thoughts and encouraged the "Black Mamba" to attempt a roaring comeback.
