CHICAGO -- The NFL has agreed to have six of its Thursday night games broadcast on local television next season.
The NFL and Tribune Broadcasting, part of the Tribune Co., said Thursday that the NFL Network telecast of each game will be carried in the local markets of each team where there is a Tribune-owned station.
Tribune Co. spokesman Gary Weitman said he expects each Tribune station will have its own pre- and post-game programs.
The full schedule includes Chicago (WGN-TV) at Miami (WSFL) on Nov. 18; Cincinnati at the New York Jets (WPIX) on Nov. 25; Houston (KIAH) at Philadelphia (WPHL) on Dec. 2; Indianapolis (WXIN) at Tennessee on Dec. 9; San Francisco at San Diego (KSWB) on Dec. 16; and Dallas (KDAF) at Arizona on Dec. 25.
