Back in 2009, the Eagles had one of the best drafts in recent memory, nabbing two of the league's best skill position players -- Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy -- in each of the first two rounds.
Since then, though, they have not registered a playoff win.
As CSN Philly points out, the Eagles are in the midst of their longest streak without a playoff win in more than 20 years, when they went without a postseason victory from 1981 to 1991.
They have those two skill position players in the prime of their careers, and one, Maclin, could be set to hit free agency in the spring.
"It's tough," McCoy said, via CSN Philly. "Every year you strive to get to the playoffs and get there and hopefully have a nice little run and have a chance to get into the Super Bowl.
"It's something I've always thought of, something I've always dreamed about doing. Just got to keep going. I think we have the pieces to get there, but so far I've come up short. Came up short a couple times. Just got to keep at it."
The Eagles looked to be the class of the division this season before losing quarterback Nick Foles to a collarbone injury, which unfortunately means losing another productive year from Maclin and McCoy.
