The Detroit Lions announced Saturday from London that defensive tackle C.J. Mosley has been suspended two weeks for conduct detrimental to the team and a violation of team rules.
No details were provided, but Mosley has been sent home ahead of Sunday's game at Wembley Stadiumwith the Atlanta Falcons.
After placing Mosley on the team's reserve/suspended list, safety Jerome Couplin was signed from the practice squad to complete Detroit's 53-man roster.
His 183 snaps on the year ranked sixth on the team. With Mosley out of the mix against the Falcons, reserve tackle Caraun Reid will be leaned on for work behind behemoths Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.
