Eli Manning can joke all he wants about being the "third-most talked about" quarterback in New York. As long as he's the only Super Bowl-winning QB in town, he won't have to worry about being booed at any of the Big Apple's sports venues.
The same can't be said for Jets quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow.
First, Tebow received a Bronx cheer at a Yankees game two weeks ago. And on Wednesday night, Sanchez -- along with teammate Santonio Holmes -- was booed at Madison Square Garden during the first quarter of the Knicks-Clippers game when they were shown on the giant scoreboard.
It could just be that the place was packed with Giants fans. Or it could be that, as Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News suggests, Knicks fans aren't buying into Sanchez and Holmes reconciling their differences from last season.
You know what could probably put an end to this, right? Eli does.
