Marshawn Lynch: 'I'm not playing football anymore'

Marshawn Lynch won't return to the NFL.

After cryptically tweeting a picturing of cleats hanging from a telephone wire during the Super Bowl, indicating his retirement, there has been rampant speculation about whether the notoriously fickle running back was truly finished.

In an interview with *60 Minutes Sports*, airing Tuesday, Lynch dismissed rumors that he could return -- specifically swatting down the idea he might want to play for his hometown Oakland Raiders.

"No, I'm done. I'm done," Lynch said. "I enjoyed my time playing, now it's time to watch my cousins do they thing."

Even Lynch's agent, Doug Hendrickson, wouldn't unequivocally say the running back was completely done: "With Marshawn, I'll never say never."

Lynch has yet to formally file his retirement papers, but was adamant when repeatedly asked if he would return to the NFL.

"I'm retired," Lynch said. "Is that good enough? Which camera do you want me to look into? This one? I'm done. I'm not playing football anymore."
