Marvin Harrison Jr. is officially on the move.

The Arizona Cardinals are trading the third-year wide receiver and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Houston Texans for 2027 second-round and sixth-round picks, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday.

The trade comes just a day after ESPN and NFL Network reported that the Cardinals were finalizing a trade to send Harrison to at the time an unidentified team.

The Texans reportedly had been in trade talks for Harrison, and that smoke proved to be the fire of a deal that will send the No. 4 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft from the NFC West to the AFC South.

"You guys want to know, huh? Yes, we traded for Marvin Harrison," Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Sunday following his team's 26-3 win over the Titans.

Harrison entered the NFL with Hall of Fame heritage and sky-high expectations after a celebrated career at Ohio State.

But 33 games into his pro career, Harrison has struggled to live up to his draft billing.

Harrison entered his third season with 103 catches for 1,493 yards and 12 touchdowns over 29 games, but he struggled through consistency and injuries over those first two years.

His play, however, has cratered through four games to begin the 2026 season. Harrison has just five receptions on 13 targets for 85 yards and a TD this season and was subject to trade speculation the past few weeks.

One team that was rumored as a potential destination was the Indianapolis Colts. It would have been a logical fit and a familiar new home for Harrison, as the Colts are currently without Alec Pierce due to injury, and Harrison's father, Marvin Harrison, starred in Indy during his Hall of Fame career from 1996 to 2008.

Harrison instead will head to a different AFC South team in Houston and one that is looking to save its season after an 0-4 start -- now 1-4 following the Texans' win on Sunday -- that has quickly soured what was thought to be a potential Super Bowl year for Ryans' squad.

Harrison will reunite with his former college QB in C.J. Stroud with the Texans and will fit into a receiver room led by Nico Collins and potentially Tank Dell, who returned to practice this past week.
