Mathis, Wayne, Bethea miss more Colts offseason practice

INDIANAPOLIS -- Three Colts players -- all Pro Bowl selections last season -- are skipping another round of voluntary workouts.

Wide receiver Reggie Wayne doesn't traditionally show up until the mandatory offseason workouts. Indianapolis police are investigating credit-card charges after Wayne told them an ex-girlfriend might have used his credit-card number to make more than $93,000 in online purchases.

Defensive end Robert Mathis reportedly wants to renegotiate his contract and didn't attend any team workouts in May. Safety Antoine Bethea hasn't signed his one-year restricted free agent tender with the Colts.

Colts coach Jim Caldwell said Tuesday that he isn't sure if any of the players will attend this weekend's mandatory three-day minicamp, but he hopes they'll participate.
