On Wednesday, NFL Media draft analyst Mike Mayock unleashed his initial position-by-position rankings for prospects in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Later, Mayock went to Twitter to provide his NFL comparisons for some of the top wide receivers in this year's draft class ...
Harrison -- who was announced as part of the 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame class at NFL Honors the night before Super Bowl 50 -- is a heady comparison for Fuller. However, Harrison was the fourth wide receiver selected in the 1996 NFL Draft -- behind Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn and Eddie Kennison -- whereas Fuller is Mayock's No. 5-rated receiver in the 2016 draft class.
Jordy Nelson was coming off a Pro Bowl season in 2014 before a knee injury ruined his 2015 season. Keenan Allen, meanwhile, was on the fast track to his first Pro Bowl nod in 2015 before an injury cut his season short. If Laquan Treadwell can be in the same class as those two in the NFL, then the Ole Miss receiver will be worthy of first-round consideration.
Cobb was a second-round pick of the Green Bay Packers and a 2014 Pro Bowl selection. Sterling Shepard figures to have a similar impact as a slot receiver in the pros.
Josh Doctson isn't expected to blaze in the 40-yard dash when he runs that at the NFL Scouting Combine later this month. Justin Hunterran a 4.44-second 40 at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine.
