When the Philadelphia Eagles begin their 2012 season, Michael Vick will be more than their starting quarterback: He'll be a married man.
Vick is scheduled to wed longtime fiancée Kijafa Frink in Miami Beach on June 30, according to the New York Post.
Sources told the Post that Eagles coach Andy Reid will be among the 300 guests, along with Vick's agent Joel Segal, running back LeSean McCoy, Vick's mentor Tony Dungy and Around the League's Gregg Rosenthal. (OK, we're just hoping Rosenthal's on the list.)
They will marry at the prestigious Fontainebleau Miami Beach, the same spot where Miami Heat star Chris Bosh tied the knot last summer.
We are uncertain if Vick will make a run at outdoing Tony Romo's somewhat epic wedding video. There is chatter here in the newsroom that Vick should play this one very modern-like and take his fiancée's last name. He could then march onto the field in Week 1, reborn to all of earth as Michael Frink.
Low chance of this.
We wish Vick and Ms. Frink the best.
