- KMSP-TV in Minneapolis/St. Paul reported that Northwestern University athletic director Dave Hieb dealt with a similar situation last season.
- And College Football Talk reported that Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. of New Jersey called for the Big Ten to review its concussion policy.
