Miss. House passes bill to set protocols for youth concussions

The Jackson Clarion Ledger reported that a concussion bill passed the Mississippi House on Thursday. The state is the last one without a youth head injury law.

Sen. Brice Wiggins worked with the NFL and other groups to craft this bill.

The bill also was written with the help of the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi, whose executive director, Lee Jenkins, would like it include recreational leagues.
