During Fantasy Draft Week, we put a call out on Twitter to find 10 entrants to play against Marcas Grant and Alex Gelhar in the first ever "NFL Fan League." The winners were chosen, and the draft was held last week. Below are the results for the 12-team standard scoring league, with analysis from Grant and Gelhar in between. You can view the whole league and follow along all season RIGHT HERE.

Alex Gelhar: So, after a long, grueling selection process, we finally found our 10 competitors for the NFL Fan League, and I'm not going to lie, I think we got a pretty good group. You?

Marcas Grant: Can I reserve judgment until the end of the season? If we get stomped in this, I won't be feeling so great about this group.

A.G.: That is a valid point. Speaking of, let's jump into the draft, shall we?

M.G.: Does that make me the rebellious fantasy teen who takes Aaron Rodgers at the end of Round 1 and Rob Gronkowski at the start of Round 2?

A.G.: I think that just makes you a savvy, but maybe progressive, drafter. As per usual, WRs went in a hurry in this round, but I liked Straight Outta Arkansas grabbing Mark Ingram. In a 12-team league, RBs go FAST as we saw in Round 1.

M.G.: I guess I have to accept that DeMarco Murray is a second-round pick. I feel like I'm shouting into the wind about his numbers falling big time this year.

A.G.: While Fabiano would have been proud to see all the RBs in Round 1, I shed a (proud) tear when I saw Jonathan Stewart get drafted in the third round.

M.G.: I know how much you love Stewart this year. I also know that by that point in the draft, RBs were getting as scarce as rain in LA.

A.G.: True. Personally, I think you committed Grant Theft WR by nabbing Jordan Matthews at the end of the third round.

M.G.: Grant Theft WR?! I love that! I also couldn't help but notice that Drew Brees went in the fourth round. Much earlier than all of our mock drafts this summer.

A.G.:Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley went in Round 4, also a surprise. And then some fool took Chris Ivory in ... oh wait, that was me! Crazy or not crazy?

M.G.: I'm a big proponent of "go get your guy." You got your guy. Can't be mad at that.

A.G.: Round 5 was the IR round, with a number of injured players having their names called. Which ones were you the most OK with?

M.G.: I would have said C.J. Spiller. But after the Arian Foster news, he looks like a value pick in this round.

A.G.: Yeah, the Smokin' Jay (Cutlers) should light a celebratory cigarette after that pick.

A.G.: His upside is tremendous, but that four-game suspension is a huge blow. I know some might say it's a reach, but I like Nelson Agholor and Charles Johnson in the sixth.

M.G.: I keep targeting Agholor but I keep having Jordan Matthews fall in my lap. Yep, I know that's a #humblebrag. Don't care. #sorrynotsorry

A.G.: I will enjoy his breakout season. Hopefully that fills the void in my fantasy heart. Hopefully.

M.G.: I liked a lot of what went on in Round 8. But Brian Quick might have been my favorite selection from this round. You?

A.G.: I'd have to agree with you. Many people scoff at the mention of Quick, but he should have a solid season.

M.G.: Not sure what I loved more: how gritty your team got in Round 8 or how everyone in the chat room was so on board with it?

A.G.: Hard to not be inspired by a guy like Woodhead. Also inspiring was Ryan Tannehill AND Jordan Cameron hanging around until Round 9.

M.G.: Those two picks were solid. But I felt a like a lot of the picks in this round were speculative. Some for the good, some ... not so much.

A.G.: I for one had to speculate on Duke Johnson because the available running backs were about as enticing as a mid-day jog in Death Valley.

M.G.: It's making me feel pretty awful about taking Charles Sims at the top of the round.

M.G.: I applaud your Teddy Bridgewater pick. He's become a QB I've targeted in more and more drafts.
