  • OL Alec Anderson (illness) has returned to practice. 
  • S Cole Bishop is week to week with a shoulder injury, the team announced.

INJURIES

  • RB D'Onta Foreman was immobilized after suffering "a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain" before getting transported to a hospital to undergo further evaluation, the Browns said in a statement. The team added that Foreman had movement in all his extremities.
  • WR Jerry Jeudy (leg) is “very close” to practicing, HC Kevin Stefanski told reports Thursday.
  • DE Myles Garrett (hamstring) is nearing a return to practice, per Stefanski.
  • DE Za'Darius Smith is returning to practice Thursday after missing the two sessions for personal reasons, per Stefanski.

  • OLB YaYa Diaby suffered a left ankle injury that forced him to leave practice on a cart, HC Todd Bowles told reporters. The extent of Diaby's injury remains unknown, per Bowles. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Diaby's X-ray's were negative but he will undergo an MRI today, per sources.
  • S Jordan Whitehead has a sore quad and could miss several days of practice, per Bowles.


SIGNINGS

  • OT Tristan Wirfs agreed to terms with Tampa Bay on a five-year, $150 million contract extension, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, per sources. Wirfs will earn more than $88 million guaranteed on the deal.
