INJURIES

  • OT Paris Johnson Jr. (knee) said he is fine and good to go moving forward. Johnson missed the last three games of the 2024 season and was placed on injured reserve.

  • RB James Cook is not present for the start of the team's voluntary offseason program, general manager Brandon Beane said Tuesday. Coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, Cook is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is eligible for a contract extension this offseason.

  • General manager Ryan Poles told reporters Tuesday that a contract extension for guard Joe Thuney is a priority for the Bears but he didn't put a timeline on working out a deal. Thuney, who has one year remaining on his contract, was acquired via trade this offseason in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick.

INJURIES

  • LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who suffered a season-ending neck injury in 2024, was at the Browns facility on Tuesday for the start of the team's voluntary offseason program.

FREE AGENCY

  • CB Stephon Gilmore was at the Cowboys facility on Tuesday during the club's pre-draft news conference, but NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported no signing is imminent.

INJURIES

  • WR Michael Pittman, who dealt with a season-long back injury in 2024, told reporters Tuesday that he didn't require surgery this offseason and he began training in mid-March after fully recovering the injury.

  • General manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay did not rule out the possibility of trading to acquire Jalen Ramsey from the Dolphins. Ramsey played for Los Angeles from 2020 to 2022 before he was traded to Miami. Miami is now interested in trading Ramsey. Snead said he's had discussions and Miami is looking to get through the draft. Snead added he's uncertain as to where the Dolphins are in the process.

  • QB Brock Purdy arrived for the start of the 49ers' voluntary offseason program amid negotiations for a contract extension, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.
  • TE George Kittle did not arrive for the start of the offseason program, per Rapoport and Pelissero. Kittle is set to earn a base salary of $14.4 million this season in the final year of his current contract.
