  • WR Jalen McMillan (neck) is expected to miss a significant portion of the regular season, perhaps up to half of it, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported. Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters Tuesday that McMillan suffered a severe neck sprain but that the injury wasn't considered career-threatening. McMillan suffered the injury during Saturday's preseason win over Pittsburgh after getting upended in the air and landing on his neck.
  • S Antoine Winfield Jr. (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday, per Bowles.

  • CB L'Jarius Sneed (quad) is working back toward getting off the physically unable to perform list but it's unclear if he will be ready for Week 1 versus Denver, head coach Brian Callahan told reporters.
