The NFL and NFLPA have continued their talks towards an agreement on human growth hormone (HGH), according to sources on both sides, through this week, after last week's face-to-face meeting.
One league source said that the conversations, conducted via conference call, have been cordial and productive, and there's no reason to believe that an agreement can't be reached.
Sources on both sides have maintained that the league and union are much farther along than they have been at any time since agreeing to work towards testing at the end of the 2011 CBA negotiation. The remaining sticking points concern procedural, economic and appeals issues.
