In his weekly review of officiating calls, NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino looked at a variety of plays from Week 9, including:
- A horse-collar penalty in the Cleveland Browns-Baltimore Ravens game.
- Illegal touching of a pass on the sidelines in the same game.
- A shift in the punt formation in the Indianapolis Colts-Houston Texans game.
- A roughing-the-kicker call affected by a tipped ball in the same game.
- An illegal motion question in the New England Patriots-Pittsburgh Steelers game.
- And a play where the quarterback is committing an illegal motion penalty.
