NFL Thanksgiving games will feature Shaboozey, Lainey Wilson, Lindsey Stirling as halftime performers

The National Football League will feature showstopping performances at this year's Thanksgiving games, with three renowned artists performing live during the holiday halftime shows.

On Nov. 28, 2024, country music's hottest rising start and 6x Grammy-nominated artist Shaboozey will take the stage as part of the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show powered by Verizon, as the Lions take on the Chicago Bears at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS; Lainey Wilson, Grammy Award winner and reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year, will perform during the Dallas Cowboys game versus the New York Giants at 4:30 p.m ET on FOX; and violinist Lindsey Stirling will play live at the Green Bay Packers game against the Miami Dolphins at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

"As Thanksgiving brings loved ones together for a day of family, food, and football, we're proud to work with our clubs and broadcast partners to showcase extraordinary artists across our three games," said Seth Dudowsky, head of music at the NFL. "The NFL on Thanksgiving provides artists with a massive platform that continues to grow, and we know this year's games will bring another unforgettable day of football, music, and unifying moments for fans watching across the country and around the world."

The holiday games continue to be a force in TV viewership. Last season, the NFL set a Thanksgiving Day viewership record for the second consecutive year. The average viewership across all three games was 34.1 million, the highest Thanksgiving Day average on record, surpassing the previous record of 33.6 million the year prior. The halftime performances during this day have simultaneously resonated with fans. U.S. viewership for each Thanksgiving halftime show surpasses all major award shows, as well as other sporting and non-sporting events, and outside of the Super Bowl halftime show, no other musical performance exists with more live U.S. viewers.

The album's smash single, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," achieved 6X RIAA- platinum certification, holds the longest reign of 2024 at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has broken records dominating Billboard's Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
