Week 6 featured another game in London, rookie QB debuts and career-high performances around the league! See which five can't-miss matchups stood above the rest.
1) Chicago Bears 35, Jacksonville Jaguars 16
Why you should rewatch:
Just a few miles away from Buckingham Palace, Caleb Williams had his coronation moment. The No. 1 overall pick threw a career-high four TDs, tying the single-game record for international contests, to lead Chicago to a dominant win in London. After Jacksonville snagged an ugly interception early, Williams began wheeling and dealing. Williams tossed two touchdowns apiece to Cole Kmet and Keenan Allen, while running for 56 yards. Perhaps most impressive was Williams -- whose pre-draft weaknesses included holding on to the ball too long -- flashing his quick cannon. The Bears' QB1 completed 13 of 14 quick passes (released under 2.5 seconds) for 111 yards and three touchdowns, while picking up nine first downs in the process, per Next Gen Stats. That, in tandem with an emerging run game, has Chicago brewing a winning formula. Despite a short-handed secondary, the Bears defense never lost a step and forced the Jaguars into two turnovers. Chicago has strung together a three-game win streak to into its bye week, and Williams is likely already eyeing another crown, closing the gap in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race with his performance on Sunday. 2) Baltimore Ravens 30, Washington Commanders 23
Why you should rewatch:
Leading the aforementioned OROY race is Commanders QB Jayden Daniels. The No. 2 overall pick was off to a sizzling start to his rookie season entering Sunday’s “Battle of the Beltway.” Daniels’ meeting with fellow dual-threat QB Lamar Jackson had fans salivating over this regional rivalry matchup. Terry McLaurin hauled in two touchdowns at M&T Bank Stadium, but Baltimore’s stars stole the show. Ravens RB Derrick “King” Henry extended his reign atop the league’s rushers with a 132-yard, two-touchdown effort and Mark Andrews caught his first this season. Yet Sunday’s real game-changer was Zay Flowers. The second-year receiver caught all nine of his targets for 132 yards and generated a career-high +41 YAC over expected. Flowers used his speed to exploit the Commanders in man coverage, logging seven receptions for 76 yards against that scheme. Baltimore, who has rebounded from an 0-2 start to the tune of four straight victories, flew to the top of the AFC North in impressive fashion. 3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 51, New Orleans Saints 27
Why you should rewatch:
This game was about resilience. Despite having to relocate operations to New Orleans earlier in the week due to Hurricane Milton, the Buccaneers were ready from the start Sunday. Tampa Bay jumped out to a 17-point first quarter lead as New Orleans rookie QB Spencer Rattler initally was met with a rude awakening in his first NFL start. But Rattler rallied the Saints and New Orleans rallied to take a 27-24 lead into halftime fueled by three Baker Mayfield interceptions. The first half alone featured three lead changes and offensive, defensive and special teams touchdowns. The next two quarters were a different story. Mayfield, finishing with four passing scores, complemented strong outings by Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker, who combined for 297 yards of total offense in relief of RB Rachaad White, who was inactive due to a foot injury. Irving forced a career-high seven missed tackles, five of which came on a fourth-quarter gallop that harkened back to Marshawn Lynch. Tampa Bay’s defense pitched a second-half shutout and the Buccaneers’ backup RB tandem gashed the Saints en route to the NFL’s first 50+-point output. Talk about resilience. 4) Philadelphia Eagles 20, Cleveland Browns 16
Why you should rewatch:
The Eagles’ offense was back at full strength against Cleveland and it mattered. Philadelphia WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith took the field together on Sunday for the first time since Week 1, and both made game-changing plays. Smith collected a 45-yard go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was Brown who called game. Brown’s 40-yard snag in traffic iced the game for the Eagles late, and it encapsulated what separates the three-time Pro Bowler from most receivers across the league: his ability to come down with contested catches. After missing the past three games due to injury, Brown hauled in six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. Four of Brown’s receptions, including his TD grab, had less than 1.5 yards of separation at the time of catch, averaging 1.3 yards of separation, per Next Gen Stats. Philadelphia’s win was not pretty but it -- and the return of the team’s stars -- might be just what the doctor ordered. 5) Detroit Lions 47, Dallas Cowboys 9
Why you should rewatch:
The Lions continue to prove why they rank among the class of the NFC. On Sunday, Dan Campbell’s squad did so by embarrassing another team that claims to live in that class. Detroit marched into AT&T Stadium and handed America’s Team its worst home loss since Jerry Jones’ ownership tenure began in 1989. Jared Goff and Co. lit up the Cowboys for their highest scoring output of the season (47), while holding Dallas to its lowest (9). Goff was once again brilliant on a big stage and never let the lights -- or the heat -- get to him. Under pressure on Sunday, Goff completed 6 of 7 passes for 178 yards, the most in a single game by any QB this season. Campbell continued to coach with his hair on fire, dialing up trick plays and keeping his foot on the gas no matter the score. A balanced offensive attack has the Lions roaring at 4-1.
