Sunday, Week 5 -- Top 5 games to watch
- WHERE: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London)
- WHEN: 9:30 a.m. ET | NFL Network, NFL+
The new No. 1 in NFL Power Rankings -- the Vikings -- are crossing the pond to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The results speak for themselves with this team: a league-leading +57 point differential, the only undefeated team in the NFC, 17 sacks in four games, and that’s just the beginning.
The Jets shot themselves in the foot in Week 4 against Denver by committing 90 yards worth of penalties. They’ve given up the third most penalty yards of any team in the last three games (88.7). Clean all of that up and you’ve potentially got a great football team with a four-time NFL MVP at quarterback. Their defense has been the most consistent part of this team through four games but have a tough test this week against a top offense.
NFL Pro Insight for Jets-Vikings
Aaron Rodgers has attempted a quick pass (under 2.5 seconds) at the third-highest rate in the NFL this season (57.8%). He has completed 51 of his 74 quick passes (68.9%) for 483 yards (third) and three touchdowns in 2024.
Minnesota ranks first in quick passing EPA per play allowed (-0.35) and first in quick passing defense.

These AFC North rivals are familiar foes. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are coming off their most complete game of the season, having outplayed the Bills in prime time with a 427-yard, 35-point performance on offense, while holding a talented Bills team to 10 points. Derrick Henry exploded for more than 200 yards from scrimmage and has Baltimore ranked first in overall rush efficiency heading into Week 5.
The Bengals notched their first win in Week 4 with a 375-yard, 34-point performance against the Panthers, and Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase seemed to have found their chemistry again. This is in large part due to a revamped offensive line that ranks first in pressure rate allowed.
NFL Pro Insight for Ravens-Bengals
The Bengals have allowed a 19.5% pressure rate this season, the lowest in the NFL. Left tackle Orlando Brown has allowed the lowest pressure rate among left tackles (3.4%), while rookie Amarius Mims’ 3.5% pressure rate allowed is fifth among right tackles.
While the Ravens defense has generated a 31.7% pressure rate (16th) this season, they are one of just three defenses to have four players with 10+ pressures generated this season. Kyle Van Noy leads the team with 13 pressures this season, including a career-high 17.8% pressure rate.

This game is set up to be one of the most competitive matchups in Week 5, featuring a pair of AFC divisional leaders at 3-1.
Josh Allen and Co. forfeited their first loss last week but are still playing very good football. For the first time in his seven-year career, Allen has zero interceptions through his first four games. Defensively, the Bills have kinks to work out in the run game, but their secondary and pass rush has been lights out, allowing just 16 passing yards per game when the quarterback is being pressured (fourth in NFL).
While there are some concerns around consistency, the good news for Houston is that C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins have emerged as a very threatening duo to opposing defenses. Collins is the league-leader in receiving yards (489) while Stroud continues to impress in his own way. Defensively, their loss against Minnesota exposed some of the Texans' weak points, but they rank in the top five in sacks (14) and yards per game (273.8) which is sure to make Allen’s job hard.
NFL Pro Insight for Bills-Texans
Josh Allen has targeted the slot at the sixth-highest rate this season (34.7%). When doing so, he has generated a league-high 68.6% success rate. Allen has also recorded an 82.9% completion percentage and +0.73 EPA per drop back, both of which are ranked second in the NFL.
The Texans defense has allowed a 54.3% completion percentage and just 4.3 yards per attempt on passes targeting the slot this season, both best in the NFL.

When the Cardinals offense is rolling, they are a hard team to contain, but they haven’t been able to do that on a consistent basis, especially in the second half. They have a chance to exploit a beaten and battered San Francisco defense that would otherwise be a very tall task.
There’s no doubt that the emergence of Jordan Mason in Christian McCaffrey's absence has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. He ranks second in yards behind just Derrick Henry and has 91 carries (most in NFL). Brock Purdy and the rest of the passing offense has been a solid complement, while the defense has done their job. Make no mistake, this is a very good football team, but they do face an air of uncertainty with their injury list seeming to grow every week.
NFL Pro Insight for Cardinals-49ers
Kyler Murrayhas thrown deep (20+ air yards) on a career-high 14.8% of his total pass attempts this season, the fourth-highest rate in the NFL. He ranks in the top five in terms of deep completions (6) and deep touchdowns (3) this season, though the bulk of his production came in Week 2 against the Rams.
The 49ers defense has surrendered the fourth-most deep passing yards this season (241) on just five completions (48.2 avg). They rank 30th on deep passing.

The trio of Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams and Tutu Atwell have done good things in the absence of their top two receivers, though it hasn’t translated to the win column. Defensively, they’ve got a lot of issues, but their pass rush – which is ranked first in pressure rate – is a huge bright spot for this team.
Jordan Love's return to Green Bay was a baptism by fire, facing a Vikings defense that picked him three times. However, he also posted career highs in completions, yards and touchdowns, so there were a lot of great takeaways. He and Jayden Reed picked up their chemistry where they left off in Week 1, as Reed posted another 130+ yard game. This chemistry could prove to be a lethal matchup for a Rams defense that ranks in the bottom five in 13 different defensive categories, per NFL Pro.
NFL Pro Insight for Packers-Rams
The Rams defense has increased their pressure rate from 35.3% last season (16th) to 41.3% this season (1st). Rookies Jared Verse and Braden Fiske lead the team with 16 and 15 pressures respectively, while Kobie Turner and Byron Young have recorded 12 and 11, respectively. This makes the Rams one of three defenses with at least four players with 10+ pressures generated this season.
The Packers offensive line ranks 16th in pressure rate (33%) and Jordan Love has the lowest completion percentage when under pressure (35.7%) of all qualified passers.
