'NFL Total Access' recap: Bryan Bulaga big loss for Packers?

Did you miss Monday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

How big of a loss is Bryan Bulaga?

Heath Evans said Bulaga is a big loss for the Green Bay Packers, but added you can cover up the loss of one offensive lineman. Darren Sharper added that it will take time for the line to gel as a unit, but that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will help himself by getting the ball out quicker.

Ed Reed's impact on secondary

Darren Sharper says safety Ed Reed will cover the middle of the field for the Houston Texans, but Reed will surprise his teammates with his ability to make plays all over the field. His savvy style of play will carry him. Evans added that Reed's veteran presence will help keep all of the guys in the right spots on the field.

Keys to winning NFC South

Sharper: The defensive front and the defensive backfield need to work better together. Evans: Running the ball on offense and stopping the run on defense. They need to get the run-game going with Steven Jackson and stop their opponents up front.

Sharper: The Saints' defense needs to create turnovers and get the ball back for the offense. Evans: They need to establish the run. Their rush attack made them Super Bowl champs in 2009, and they need to get it going again.

Sharper:Cam Newton is most important to the Panthers and he needs to play at an MVP level this year if they want to win. Evans: They need to get after the quarterback and stop the run up front.

Sharper:Josh Freeman needs to be consistent at quarterback. Evans: Coach Greg Schiano needs to make sure he doesn't wear his team out, and the defensive line needs to get after the quarterback more.

What to look for from Brandon Weeden?

Evans says Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden will be asked to do a lot more under his new offensive coordinator, Norv Turner. But, Evans also says that will suit him better because it will be a more stable offense and allow him to let the ball fly downfield. Sharper added that they will run the ball more, and set up play action with running back Trent Richardson. Sharper also said Turner is really good at dictating single coverage on the outside.

Are the Bengals favorites to win AFC North?

Sharper says the Cincinnati Bengals have been doing a great job bringing in new talent through free agency and the draft. He says they will definitely be a contender to win the division. Evans still remains skeptical of their consistency, but is confident the Bengals will have a solid year and compete for the division.
