'NFL Total Access' recap: Geno Smith skips Jets West

Did you miss Friday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Geno Smith not at Jets West

Shaun O'Hara agreed with Mark Sanchez that it isn't a big deal that Geno Smith isn't at Jets West. He said it's a testament to Sanchez's hold on the New York Jets offense and it shows that he is the guy who will be leading the team come September. Donovan McNabb agreed, saying that running reps with the rest of your team can help with the timing and footwork. Sanchez is the one getting this opportunity, not Smith.

Franchise players

Albert Breer tagged Denver Broncos offensive tackle Ryan Clady as the most likely to sign a long-term deal out of the eight remaining franchise players. Clady reportedly was offered $33 million over three years. When asked about Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd, Breer doesn't see a deal happening by the deadline on Monday. Breer also said that there isn't a formal offer on the table for Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Branden Albert.

Browns: 32 in 32

McNabb said we'll see more rushing and more play action from the Cleveland Browns in 2013. He also added this is the time to build around QB Brandon Weeden since he's getting older. McNabb noted that Davone Bess has been one of the top receivers on third down over the years, so that addition is key.

Sanchez one-on-one with Beisner

Sanchez said he invited everybody, but most of the players aren't out there. It is the first year he hasn't had another Jets QB out with him in California. There is no doubt in his mind that he is the right player to be leading this team. When asked about his lack of success over the last few years, he replied that he has watched film and that that will help.

10-win teams

McNabb doesn't believe that the Baltimore Ravens will repeat a 10-win season, while O'Hara sees them eclipsing the 10-win mark. Both analysts don't see the Washingtion Redskins winning 10 games. They also agreed that the Minnesota Vikings won't win 10 games due to QB Christian Ponder.
