'NFL Total Access' recap: Michael Vick growing frustrated

Did you miss Friday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Vick growing frustrated

Heath Evans and Willie McGinest discussed Michael Vick's frustration with the Philadelphia Eagles' starting QB situation. McGinest says the last thing the Eagles need is a distraction. Evans believes that the frustration is warranted, but Vick is not in a position to be demanding of coach Chip Kelly.

QB competition in Jacksonville

Evans says there will be a strong quarterback competition for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He believes Chad Henne will start more games this season because Blaine Gabbert had some problems with decision-making in the pocket. Evans feels coach Gus Bradley will be productive and easy to play for in his first season. Evans believes they will use rookie Denard Robinson in space, whether on offense or on special teams.

Austin's impact

McGinest talked about the best value players on the St. Louis Rams. He believes rookie wide receiver Tavon Austin will have a big, dynamic impact on offense in space. He is Percy Harvin-like, McGinest stated. He compared Austin to Green Bay Packers wideout Randall Cobb and even Wes Welker.

Dominik confident Revis will be ready

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik joined the show with a freshly shaved head, which he and other Bucs players are sporting to support the fight against pediatric cancer. When asked about the Darrelle Revis trade, Dominik said that it was important to get the trade done before the draft and for Revis to pass his physical. He said this is a big year for quarterback Josh Freeman, and there are a lot of pieces to help him succeed.

Cutler's future

McGinest and Evans debated whether Jay Culter will be the Bears' starting quarterback in 2014. Evans said the odds are in Cutler's favor since there aren't many other quarterbacks with Cutler's talent. The Bears tried to shore up the offensive line and Cutler now has a new offensive coordinator in Aaron Kromer. McGinest says it's a good situation and a fresh start in a sense. He feels health is the issue and if the rest of the guys stay on the field and keep up the chemistry, Cutler should have a productive season. If wide receiver Earl Bennett and others stay healthy, Evans agreed that Cutler should excel and that the team might even catch fire.

White vs. Sherman

McGinest and Evans discussed which player will make a bigger impact this year: Roddy White or Richard Sherman. McGinest said when the wide receiver and cornerback face each other, then we'll see. White has been consistent for six seasons, McGinest added. Evans feels that White had some quiet weeks over the last few years, but Sherman has the ability to shut down opposing receivers.

Super memories

Evans and McGinest discussed their experiences of receiving a Super Bowl championship ring. McGinest believes the experience is becoming bigger and better each year. Evans remembered the memories and the time spent with his teammates.
