'NFL Total Access' recap: Tebow time in New England

Did you miss Monday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Tebow will play QB

Ian Rapoport said the Tim Tebow-to-the-New England Patriots deal came together in the last 24 hours. Rapoport says the Pats are planning to play Tebow at quarterback.

Billick says Tebow won't distract

Brian Billick believes Tebow was the right player at the right price. Billick says Tebow will add value at the third quarterback slot. Billick also stated that Tebow will not be a distraction in New England like he was with the New York Jets because of the stability in New England.

Good move?

Heath Evans believes that Patriots coach Bill Belichick will be a good teacher for Tebow and could help resurrect his career. Darren Sharper, on the other hand, believes the Patriots' signing of Tebow was a huge mistake. He doesn't believe Tebow can run their offense.

Tebow's contract

Albert Breer reported that Tebow's deal will be for the league minimum, but the signing was discussed at the highest level of the organization. The Patriots talked about it over the weekend and decided that this was the right move to make, Breer said.

Nate Washington talks Titans

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nate Washington says offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains has had experience under great coaches and he's getting a lot of guys opportunities. Washington believes Loggains is making quarterback Jake Locker more comfortable, allowing him to grow into his role.

Total power for Mike Shanahan: Risk vs. reward

Billick doesn't believe there is a risk involved with giving Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan absolute power because the organization usually makes decisions as a whole. Billick said having just one voice leading the team creates a unified vision within the organization. Billick stressed that it's important to have people who can check the coach when he has full control.

Rivers hopeful

San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers said his team has an all-new offense this year and he has to learn the new terminology. He said that the change was difficult early, but he's enjoyed the challenge. Rivers feels criticism comes with the position, and because the Chargers haven't won in recent years.
