San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, who has been nursing an injured ankle, was limited in practice Friday and is listed as questionable to play against the Denver Broncos in London Sunday.
As expected, quarterback Alex Smith will be sidelined because of a shoulder injury he suffered last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Coach Mike Singletaryruled Smith out ealier this week and tapped former Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith to make his first NFL start in three years.
Also out for the 49ers is center Eric Heitmann. RB Anthony Dixon is questionable with a hamstring injury.
