LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- For the ninth time in 10 years, the Chicago Bears are raising ticket prices.
The Bears announced Tuesday non-club tickets will increase between $2 and $10 for the upcoming season, making the price range $75 to $150 per ticket. During the first year of remodeled Soldier Field, ticket prices ranged from $45 to $85. Non-club seating make of 85 percent of the stadium.
The price of club-seat tickets remain at $265 to $530 per ticket for 2012.
The Bears are coming off a season when they were in the bottom five in player salaries in the National Football League. Team president Ted Phillips said the Bears set aside a substantial amount last year to sign Pro Bowl running back Matt Forte to a long-term contract. However, that didn't happen.
