Notable injuries, news from Sunday's Week 15 games: Eagles' Jalen Hurts dealing with broken finger

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 15 Sunday:

  • Chicago Bears offensive lineman Braxton Jones (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Monday's game against the Vikings.
  • Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard (knee) was ruled out against the Titans.
  • Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb (foot) and cornerback Martin Emerson (head) were ruled out against the Chiefs. Defensive lineman Shelby Harris (elbow) did not return. Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinsonentered the game for Jameis Winston in the fourth quarter.
  • Houston Texans defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (ankle) was ruled out against the Dolphins.
  • Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) exited in the fourth quarter after getting taken down awkwardly and did not return. Mahomes, who was deemed questionable, was seen getting his left ankle taped on the sideline, but Carson Wentz entered the game for the Chiefs' final two possessions. Defensive back Chamarri Conner (concussion) was ruled out against the Browns.
  • Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee) did not return against the Texans. Wide receiver Grant DuBose was ruled out with a head injury after a helmet-to-helmet hit in the third quarter, is in stable condition and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Following the hit, Dubose received medical attention for several minutes. He was eventually stabilized on a backboard and stretchered off with a neck brace.
  • New Orleans Saints quarterback Jake Haener was benched in the third quarter versus the Commanders while trailing, 17-0, in favor of Spencer Rattler. Running back Alvin Kamara (groin) and defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry (stinger) did not return versus Washington.
  • New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito (concussion) was ruled out against the Ravens and replaced by Tim Boyle. Linebacker Patrick Johnson (knee) did not return.
  • New York Jets defensive back Jalen Mills (chest) was ruled out against the Jaguars. Safety Tony Adams (nose) and cornerback Michael Carter II (back) are questionable to return. Linebacker Jamien Sherwood is being evaluated for a concussion.
  • Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has a broken finger on his non-throwing hand, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
  • Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was benched in the third quarter versus the Bengals while trailing, 31-14, in favor of Mason Rudolph.
  • Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz (concussion) was ruled out against the Saints.
