Odell Beckham is getting another shot.

The Minnesota Vikings have signed the veteran receiver to their practice squad, the team announced on Wednesday.

Minnesota also added wideout Jeshaun Jones to its practice squad.

Beckham made the New York Giants' initial 53-man roster in August out of training camp, but he was released after three games in which he had zero catches on one target over 20 snaps.

The Vikings' offense is looking for help at receiver as Justin Jefferson continues to deal with an ankle injury suffered in Week 3.

Outside Jefferson, who was inactive this past Sunday, Jordan Addison has gotten the vast majority of the receiver targets, catching 11 of 22 for 163 yards and one touchdown. No other Vikings wide receiver has more than two catches. Jauan Jennings hasn’t gotten involved after getting banged up early in the season, Myles Price is a special teams ace and Tai Felton has one catch in four games.

The Vikings also have receivers Michael Briscoe and Dillon Bell on the practice squad.

Adding Beckham to the mix is a decent flier for a Vikings offense that has struggled to gain any traction with Kyler Murray under center. Coach Kevin O’Connell was the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, when Beckham helped L.A. win a Super Bowl.

It remains to be seen whether the 33-year-old Beckham has much left in the tank, but he’ll get at least one more chance to take a test drive.
