Oklahoma State freshman running back Devon Thomas has been arrested on felony complaints of armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill, according to police reports obtained by tulsaworld.com.
The victim told police that Thomas and three other men robbed him at gunpoint in Thomas' hometown of Broken Arrow, Okla., taking from him marijuana, money, shoes and clothing, and identified Thomas as the robber holding the gun. When the victim left the scene in his vehicle, a shot was fired through the rear windshield, nicking the driver's headrest.
Upon his arrest, Thomas reportedly denied brandishing or firing a gun. Thomas remained in jail Friday morning on a $125,000 bond, but has not yet been charged.
The 2014 signee enrolled at OSU in January in hopes of competing for playing time this fall, and participated in spring practice. He was a four-star recruit out of Broken Arrow High as the school's all-time leading rusher.
Oklahoma State has not commented on the arrest.
