Ozzie Newsome 'feeling fine' after stay in Chicago

Ozzie Newsome is back home with the Baltimore Ravens.

One day after the longtime general manager reportedly was rushed from Soldier Field in an ambulance following Sunday's overtime loss to the Chicago Bears, Newsome told the Ravens' official website he's "feeling fine."

Newsome returned to Baltimore on Monday. Doctors recommended he not fly Sunday night after the GM was seen by reporters sweating profusely.

"He's back and he has a clean bill of health," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said at his Monday news conference. "I don't think we know exactly what caused the situation yesterday, but it wasn't anything serious."

In his 23rd season with the Ravens, Newsome has grown into one of the NFL's premier talent evaluators, guiding Baltimore to Super Bowl titles in 2000 and 2012. We wish him a quick recovery.
