Carolina Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton was involved in a car crash Tuesday, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.
Dalton was in the vehicle with his wife, three children and dog, per Pelissero, and no one required transportation from emergency medical personnel.
Pelissero also added that Dalton is currently being evaluated by the team's medical personnel.
Dalton, a three-time Pro Bowler, has started the past five games for the Panthers after replacing second-year QB Bryce Young in Week 3.
He has thrown for 989 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions with a 66.3 completion percentage, dropping his last four games after winning the first with a 319-yard, three-TD performance.
Following a 40-7 loss to the Washington Commanders, head coach Dave Canales said Sunday that Carolina planned to continue with Dalton as the starter.
