CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a sprained ankle.
Williams missed his third consecutive practice Friday. He leads Carolina with 1,022 rushing yards.
Williams' absence would make it hard for the Panthers to establish their running game and take pressure off quarterback Matt Moore, who will make his fourth career start and first in two years. Starter Jake Delhomme has a broken finger.
Wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett (ankle) and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (concussion) are doubtful. Wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad (knee) and fullback Brad Hoover (ankle) are probable. Reserve defensive tackle Tank Tyler (knee) won't play.
