Panthers rule out Wharton, Pugh, Hudson vs. Browns

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers left guard Travelle Wharton and safeties Jordan Pugh and Marcus Hudson didn't travel to Cleveland and won't play Sunday against the Browns.

Wharton will miss his second consecutive game because of turf toe and Hudson his second in a row with an ankle injury.

Pugh hurt his hamstring last weekend during a loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Wide receiver Armanti Edwards also was added to the Panthers' injury report Saturday as questionable because of a sore back.

The Panthers (1-9) own the league's worst record and have dropped four consecutive games.
